Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 16, 2026

At toollabs.in, your privacy is our highest priority. This policy explains what data we collect (almost none), how our tools work, and what happens when you use our platform.

1. Data Processing

The vast majority of tools on toollabs.in operate entirely within your web browser using client-side JavaScript. This means your data — including passwords, JSON content, hashes, prompts, text, and files — is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.

We do not have access to the inputs you provide or the outputs generated by the tools. There is no server-side logging of tool usage data, no database storing your queries, and no analytics tracking what you type into any tool.

2. Network Tools & Third-Party APIs

Certain network-focused tools (such as IP Lookup, DNS queries, Whois Lookup, and HTTP Headers inspection) require communicating with external services or APIs to retrieve results. These requests are made only when you explicitly trigger the tool by clicking a button or submitting a form. We do not pre-fetch, cache, or log these requests.

Third-party API providers may have their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing their terms if you have specific concerns about network tool queries.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

toollabs.in does not use tracking cookies. We may use your browser's local storage to save user preferences such as dark mode settings and tool visibility configurations. This data remains on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

4. Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service, to understand general traffic patterns (such as page views and visitor counts). Vercel Analytics does not use cookies, does not track individual users across sites, and does not collect personally identifiable information. You can learn more about Vercel Analytics privacy.

5. Advertising

toollabs.in may display advertisements via Google AdSense or similar advertising networks. These services may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads. You can manage your ad personalization settings through Google Ads Settings.

6. No Account Required

toollabs.in does not require user accounts, registration, or login. You can use all tools immediately without providing any personal information such as your name, email address, or phone number.

7. Data Retention

Since we do not collect or store user tool data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Any preferences stored in your browser's local storage can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser data for toollabs.in.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since toollabs.in does not collect or store personal data through its tools, most data rights (access, rectification, erasure) are not applicable. However, to the extent that third-party services (such as Vercel Analytics or Google AdSense) process any data, you have the right to:

  • Request information about what data, if any, is processed about you
  • Object to the processing of your data for advertising purposes
  • Opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@toollabs.in.

9. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) provides you with specific rights regarding your personal information. Since toollabs.in does not sell personal information and does not collect personal data through its tools, the CCPA right to opt out of the sale of personal information is not applicable. However, if third-party advertising services collect data through cookies, you can manage your preferences through your browser settings or by visiting Your Online Choices.

10. Children's Privacy

toollabs.in is a general-purpose tool platform and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
